Although unbuilt, this proposed tower was seriously considered as a new symbol for the La Defense business district in Paris, France. It was to be situated next to the Grand Arch to contrast its slender, vertical structure with the Grand Arch's massive, anchored frame.

The idea of its visual appearance came out of the spiritual connection between earth and air, therefore giving the impression that it was dematerializing as it rose into the sky.

The circular floor plates are uninterrupted as then span to the outer perimeter walls, which act as the peripheral structure. This allows for an open plan and nominal interior space. The main program is situated at the bottom of the structure, due to the diminishing transparency as the tower rises.

High speed elevators are attached to the outer skin of the building, allowing for a more efficient use and arrangement of office space in the center.

The program is mainly kept on the outer perimeter of the cylindrical floor shape to integrate accommodation/accessibility, structure, and circulation as close as possible.
